Biography
Calvin L. Greer Sr., is currently the Senior Pastor of Kainos Community Church in Houston, Texas. As the seventh child of Henry and Dolly Greer, Calvin is a proud native of Houston, Texas. With a sincere dedication to love and honor his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, Calvin believes in the importance of serving his family, which is his wife of 37 years, Lethia. He also finds great joy in loving, leading, and serving his 3 children, Brittani, Calvin Jr. (Ciarra), and David, as well as his two grand-children, Aliyah and Calvin III.
He is a distinguished retiree of The United States Air Force with 21yrs of service. Graduate of Wayland Baptist University. Studied at Houston School of Theology, U.S. Air Force Non-Commission Officer Academy, Air University, U.S. Air Force Recruiting School, U.S. Air Force advanced HVAC/R Techical Training School, Certificate in Boiler Systems Operations and Maintenance, Penn State Engineering Institute and Professional Selling Skills Care/ Advance Training Certificate.
Wthin ministry Pastor Calvin has served at the The Church Without Walls in Houston Texas, as a Liturgical Worship Leader, Marriage Ministry Cordinator, Pastoral Care Minister, Kerygma Ministry Member, and Joshua’s Men Member.
He has also served as:
-Elder of Destiny World Outreach Center in Killeen, Texas
-Associate Pastor at The NorthPole Worship Center, in North Pole, Alaska.
-Youth and Young Adult Pastor at Shaw United Methodist Church in Washington DC.
-Youth and Yound Adult Pastor of Gibbons United Methodist Church, Maryland.
-Life Long Member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Houston Texas.
